Almost half past midnight

And I am awake, unable to sleep.

Yes, insomnia strikes me again!

I thought I might get lucky, and I’d get two decent nights of sleep, but, it wasn’t to be.

I’m feeling triggered, I’m feeling unstable, I’m feeling anxious.

Not a great combo of things to be dealing with ATM!

What to do? Well, I’ve tried distraction! No joy! Nothings working.

Shit, my neighbours are so loud, they are outside my window talking loudly and slamming car doors!

God, I didn’t need this tonight! Not while I am a shaky mess.

I’ve made tea, drank it, nothing.

I think maybe I will go read. Get lost in my book for an hour or two. Yeah, that sounds good to me. Sounds like a plan.

I think I’m in for a loooong night, of terror!

I’d love to be able to just hop into bed and snuggle down and as soon as my head hits the pillow I’d be asleep!

A gal can dream, right?

At least my furbaby is sleeping.

He knows how to relax! Maybe I need to take a leaf out of his book!
