Poor Frances was soaked to the skin when she got to me this morning. She was like a drowned rat she was that wet.
She had to strip all of her clothes off, and put them in my dryer to dry them off.
I loaned her my fluffy bathrobe to keep her warm while she waited for the clothes to dry.
And while she was here, it poured down all morning.
There was no end to the rain!
She did all of my housework, and I had a fruit salad with yogurt on it for breakfast.
We had a very productive morning.
Too bad that it was raining again when she was leaving, so her nice dry clothes are going to be soaked again by the time she gets home.
