This morning
My thoughts are in a muddle
I am thinking about culture
What is right and wrong
What is PC and what isn’t
My culture says
That making jokes about disabled people
Isn’t PC
I agree its wrong
My thoughts are in transit
As this morning
Someone did just that
Made a horrible joke about blindness
They thought it ok to do that
I don’t agree.

That is awful! Some people have no conception of what it means to “have a problem”. There are so many things. Sometimes after driving my dad I have had the disabled parking permit in my car and have used it. I have psoriatic arthritis and will need foot surgery and a knee replacement. I often feel like someone would look at me and think “she is NOT disabled”. but then I see myself arguing that “you don’t feel the pain that I do” and that “just because you can’t see what is wrong with me “…It is very hard to hear, to deal with, and to explain.

There are many invisible disabilities, I don’t blame you for using the parking permit, I think if I had arthritis and other conditions that caused me to be in physical pain, I would want to use a parking permit if I had a choice as well 🦋🤗🤗
