Everything. I mean,my grandparents had an outhouse til I was 12. Guess in digital age,the wall phone with cords and no caller ID would seem strange. But having one back then made you feel every bit as lucky as having a smart phone today.

In kindergarten we were allowed to leave school and walk home without a guardian or parent present. I even walked to pre-school on my own. But that was the 1970s

Almost everyone walked or rode their bikes to school back then. And none of us were overweight.

I’ve noticed many parents these days and even slightly younger dont cook meals like we had as kids.

Riding your bike in grade school until dark, and sleeping in my backyard! So many things that my kids, and grandkids will never will get to experience.
