So mom saw her GP! And the outcome was good!
All of her blood work came back mostly normal.
Her cholesterol is slightly elevated, but the doctor said its not by much, so its nothing to worry about.
Her blood sugar was fine. Her kidney function and thyroid were both fine.
The doctor told her that she’d be eligible for a fifth covid booster shot soon because of her COPD!
Her heart tracing was normal.
Her blood pressure was slightly low when they took it at her last appointment, so the doctor took it again today. It was perfect today.
So she got a clean bill of health for now, and she has to see her GP again in 3 months.
She’s also due to get a CT scan on her lungs again soon, right now she’s waiting on that appointment.
After she has the CT scan she will see her COPD specialist for a follow up.
Her GP said the chronic disease clinic would contact her again in a few months, and they’ll check her over again and just monitor things to see where she’s at.
So I’m very happy. Thanks so much for all of the prayers and positivity for my mom. It all helps.
