Today is Friday 19th August

I had a very good morning so far today. I was up early, showered and ready to leave by 8:30. The taxi came at 8:30 on the dot. I was shocked as I was expecting it to be late.

When I got to the store, Frances was just arriving, so that was cool.

We went to the ATM so I could get out some money, then we went to starbucks.

I got a chai latte and I got Frances a hot chocolate.

We sat down with our drinks and we were chatting for a while as we drank them.

Then we walked over to Aldi. We were working from a list, as I always try to make a list of what I need in the grocery store.

I did pick up a couple of things that weren’t on the list though. I treated myself to some small trifles, there are 3 in a pack.

For those who don’t know what trifle is, its fruit, with jelly and custard and cream on top.

I will have one after dinner today.

We came home and we got to my house and it was only 9:30. So we had more coffee before Frances did all of the housework.

While she worked on vacuuming and mopping the floors, I had to pay some bills. I paid some money off of my phone bill, my electricity bill, my gas bill, and I also paid my prescription fees for my meds.

Once Frances was done cleaning, it was time for her to leave.

Then I got to work on friendly call. My supervisor had sent me on a list of clients to call.

I’ve just completed my calls now and am about to email on my notes to my supervisor.

Then I will chill out. I’m not going to my parents house this weekend. My mom is taking care of my sisters 2 pugs while she’s on holiday, and between her two dogs, my parents border collie and then Nitro it would be too many dogs.

Anyway, I feel like staying home, I am going to enjoy the peace and quiet this weekend. I am going to read a lot, and maybe watch something on tv, read my email, blog posts and just relax.

The pharmacy called me while I was in the grocery store this morning, the pharmacist told me about a form she was going to attach to my prescription next week, it’s a form to enable me to get my diabetes meds for free because diabetes is classed as a long term illness.

So I need to fill that out and get it stamped by my GP!

Anyway, on with my day now, hoping you all are having a good day!
