“Writing did not save my life, but it has continued to do what it always has done. It makes my life a brighter and more pleasant place.”
Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft

For me writing is therapy. I love being able to put down on my screen my thoughts, opinions and how I am feeling. It has really saved my life at times. I write when I am happy, I write when I am sad, I write when I am angry, I enjoy being creative too, writing poetry and occasional short fiction pieces. I love it when people read and like or comment on what I have to say, it spurs me on and makes me want to write more. Blogging and starting a blog has been one of the best things I’ve done. I have made so many wonderful friends and connected with some lovely people from all over the world.

  1. I think you would like the podcast I listened to this morning. It’s called How To Fail with Elizabeth Day, and I listened to the episode where she interviewed Matt Haig. He says many of the same things you’ve just said about writing xx
