Made it home and other news

I made it home from dublin in one piece! The train station was so busy yesterday, and I had a bit of an adventure, in that the person who said he’d put me on the train forgot about me, so I had to ask a kind lady who was sitting next to me on the seat if she’d go find someone to put me on the train. She obliged, and a very kind man came and walked me and Nitro to the train, and made sure we got a seat. I was so grateful to him.

I slept on the train on the way home. The journey was ok, and we arrived in to cork on time. And when I got there I’d organised for my favourite taxi driver John to pick me up and bring me home. He was there waiting when I arrived!

I got home, had some food and then I crashed, I slept all evening and night, I was exhausted.

I Woke up to rain this morning, it is pouring outside, and it has rained for the whole morning, I had to go out in it, as I had therapy at 10 AM! My therapy appointment was great, it was productive, and we did a lot of good work.

I came home and have been working on friendly call. I am done now though. My mom called and she took all of my clothes that I wore at the weekend and she said she’d wash them for me and bring them back to me on wednesday.

My supervisor from friendly call emailed me to say she’d call on Wednesday to give me the Money for the laptop charger, I am so grateful to her for giving
me the money. I told her I’d only be here in the morning, as I am seeing my psychiatrist dr. Barry in the afternoon.

I am going to chill out and relax for the rest of the afternoon. I don’t have any plans, but I will probably read, and watch tv, and do some writing.
I hope you all have a lovely day!

  1. I’m glad to hear your trip was a success (except for the bozo who had a bad memory of course!) It’s good to get away for a bit, but coming home again is the best part in my opinion. I’m always so wrung out after even a short trip these days, that a good rest is mandatory. I’m usually really achy too, my bones and muscles hurt for a couple of days. But congratulations! That whole thing sounds very refreshing! 🙂
