Can I get your attention, mom?

I rest my weary head
Against your chest
you Touch me with your fingers
I love your scentual touch
You caress my skin
I lie there enjoying the feeling
Then suddenly
Just as I am falling asleep
I feel something
A wet nose
thats odd?
I say
What is that!
And we both jump with fright
There, trying to come on the bed to greet us
is my big monster lab
His soft fur tickling my legs
Give me some attention, mom
He says with a lick
Thats it
No more scentual touches for me tonight
