Therapy today: My adventure!

So I had therapy this morning. Eileen is still on holidays, but she had me scheduled for a session at 10 AM! She’s so kind to see me when she’s on vacation, I really love her and I am so grateful to her for still letting me come in.
Anyway, my favourite taxi driver whose name is john was taking me to therapy. Last week, the road up to Eileens house was closed, but the people working on it said it would only be closed for a week, well, today, it was closed again!
So we had to take a very big detour!
Instead of getting to therapy at 10 AM I didnt get there until 10:15. We had no clue how to divert to get to Eileens house. I rang her twice, and in the end she had to give us instructions on how to do it. Luckily her instructions were amazing, and so john was able to get me there.
It was stressful though! I hate when there are changes in plans!
Luckily Eileen said since we had to make a detour that I could stay an extra 15 minutes to make up the time I lost. So john said he’d pick me up at 11:15, his daughter lives nearby so he went to her house to wait for me to be done.
We had a great session! It was very powerful. We talked a lot about fear and anxiety, and we did some EMDR!
By the end of it I was exhausted, so exhausted that after work today I needed a nap.
I think though I napped for too long. Now its almost 1 AM and I cant sleep. Oh well. I have plenty of things to do to keep me busy while I am not sleeping
