And we have liftoff!

My internet is installed, finally. It only took about 3 hours, lol. But, I’m still using my old connection, because the fibre line won’t work for 24 hours. Apparently, some engineer has to activate it. Whatever, I’m just so glad the installation went smoothly. It actually worked out great. As you all know, I hadnt slept last night, so this morning, at around 8 AM I went to bed. I decided I’d have 2 or 3 hours sleep before the installation guy came, my mom was also coming over for lunch. At noon I was woken by a call from the installation guy to say he’d be with me in 10 minutes, luckily, mom was also on her way, so she was here when he came. He was a spanish guy, very friendly, and my sister said he looked hot lol. He had to do a lot of work with the wiring outside my house, and some drilling and installing cables inside my house also. Once he was done he explained everything to me. Then he was like, have you a vacume cleaner, I’ll vacume up the dust! My mom said she’d do it, but we thanked him for offering! I don’t know of any other technician who would offer to clean up after themselves. He wore a mask, and we social distanced, so that was all good. My mom and sister stayed until he’d completed the job. They’ve just left about 20 minutes ago. I am glad I got some sleep, I feel well rested, even though I only got four hours. It was sound sleep. I am functional again now. So it’ll be tomorrow morning before I can test out my new internet, and test out the new faster speeds. I’m excited.
