Screwed up sleep

Well guys, I’m wide awake.
Yep. 2:45 AM and not a sign of sleep yet.
I give up. I just have to face it, I’m an insomniac, and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.
I really thought I’d sleep tonight. I mean I’ve been up since 7 this morning. But I’m so wired, it is not even funny.
I have that false energy, you know when you feel like you can take on the world.
I suppose I’ll drop at some point, when that’ll be well is anyones guess.
While I am not sleeping I’ve been on my laptop going through my emails, and reading blog posts.
Its something to do.
At least I don’t have plans this weekend, thats a blessing, as it means I have time to relax and just take it easy.
I do wish I could sleep though. Like a normal person, at normal hours.

  1. Okay, next time you feel like this, tell us more about the day you just had with your sister. At Blarney, wasn’t it. But, in poetry. Don’t tell us what you did, instead tell us how you felt, maybe the smelled, how things felt to your touch? Just a challenge…

  2. Hi Carol Anne. Roger from Porirua, New Zealand here. I try to exercise and read the Bible before I go to bed. I can normally sleep ok but sometime wake up too early and can’t get back to sleep. If you are really bored and sleepless you could always talk to me since our time-zones are opposite. Take care, hugs from me.

      1. I would love to be your guide when you come. You have the same first two names as one of my sisters. Hope you are having a good day. May God bless you.
