My friend pat

I just got off the phone with my friend pat, he’s a really good friend of mine, he’s blind, and he lives in Dublin, he’s also a type 1 diabetic and he’s also a kidney transplant patient.
Yesterday while he was out training with his new guide dog, he had a massive nose bleed. The blood just kept pouring out of his nose, and it wouldnt stop.
He’s on blood thinners, aspirin, so that is not good!
He rang his gp and the gp said to stop taking the aspirin. He went to the hospital and they packed his nose, but the blood kept going, it even went through the packing.
So last night he had to go back to the hospital again, and stay overnight. They inflated this balloon like thing into the back of his throat, that seemed to stop the blood, but if it hadnt they were going to keep him and admit him and put him under an anaesthetic to corthorise his nose.
He’s home now and very tired. He had no sleep last night, so his sister took the new dog for a day or so so he can sleep and rest.
He isnt allowed to drink anything hot or shower for the next 48 hours.
Please pray his nose bleed won’t occur again. He’s lost a lot of blood.
I am hoping he’ll be ok!
