Finishing off my day with a glass of prosecco!

We had the most amazing day. Mom really enjoyed her birthday celebrations.
We spent 4 hours in blarney castle and gardens. Its so beautiful there. The gardens are amazing.
I have some pics which I will post later this evening.
My sister took the kids right up to the top of the castle. I didnt go up, its too narrow and I was kinda scared, plus, my mom couldnt go up, so I decided to just stay with her and we took photos and sat and enjoyed nature while my sister went up with the kids.
We walked a lot, sat down a lot, drank latte’s, and enjoyed the many birds and flowers that there was to see in the gardens.
Afterwords we went for a meal in a local bar. The food was outstanding. Mom and I had steak, my sister had a cajun chicken chiabatta, and my niece had chicken goujons and fries, and my nephew had chicken nuggets and fries.
All in all it was a beautiful, fun filled, family day.
I’m totally exhausted now, but am relaxing and finishing up my night with a couple glasses of prosecco.
Mom is having a few drinks too, she might as well as its her birthday tomorrow.
I’m so happy I got to spend the day with my mom, I know not everyone is lucky enough to have their mom in their lives and I treasure mine, I have made some wonderful memories, and I am so grateful having gotten to have this outing with her today.
