The kindness of a stranger

The volunteer from age action came to cut my grass. He was so kind! I couldnt get over how kind he was! He was a middle aged man called john, and guess what? He has the same last name as I do!
He cut both the back and front gardens. He used my lawn mower and when he was done, he bagged up all the grass for me, I threw some of it in my rubbish bin, and the rest can wait until the next time the bins are being put out.
Then, he asked me if I had a sweeping brush, he swept all the floor where there were bits of grass.
I was thanking him over and over! He’s really done a fabulous job on it.
I am so glad the grass has finally been cut!
Its a huge weight off of my chest, and now I know when I need it cut again I can just ring age action and someone will come out to me.
I am super happy now that its done.
