My second covid vaccine

I just got the call about my second covid vaccination. Its on June 3rd at 10 AM! I am going to have Frances take me. I am feeling a little apprehensive about it, as I know with the pfizer shot the second one can cause side effects. I guess I will just have to take painkillers beforehand, and have some on hand for the 48 hours after the vaccination. At least I’ll be vaccinated now. I’m glad about that. I feel relieved that I’ll finally be vaccinated. I will just have to hope for the best and hope that the side effects from it will be minimal.

  1. I hope it all goes smoothly! They generally recommend taking painkillers after getting the vaccine and not before. I also got the Pfizer vaccine. While I did have side effects, I also treated the days after the second vaccine as rest days.

  2. Hi! I got my second dose of Pfizer yesterday. Absolutely ZERO side effects. I took a couple naproxen sodium (Aleve) liquid gels before and I feel good. I’m happy to have it all done. I felt the anxiousness too the night before, but I worked out before I went, and it’s all good.
