We’re calmer now

We called Eileen. She didnt pick up so I left a voice mail for her. And she got back to me within 20 minutes.
She calmed us down. She was able to soothe the kids. They listened to her reassuring voice, and they got calmer.
She said, there is no 9 9 9, no emergency!
She always says that when she is calming us down.
It always makes us smile.
So we are feeling grounded now. For now at least.
The anxiety is still there though. She told me to put my feet on the ground, and take some deep breaths, so I am trying to do that.
She also told me that we can go back to doing face to face therapy really soon!
That made me so happy! I have missed the connection. Zoom is good but I prefer face to face sessions!
We will address the kids fears and other stuff more on Monday, but I am so thankful that Eileen got back to us so quickly and that she was able to get us grounded again.
