Saw my uncle today

I saw my uncle today after a year and a half. He’s dads brother.
He’s in a nursing home and today was the first time he was able to go out. All this time they’ve been restricted and while they were in lockdown no one could visit.
He came to my parents today for sunday lunch. My sister picked him up and brought him to my parents house.
It was lovely to see him after so long.
We had a nice catch up!
He has a few health issues and he’s a bit frail but he has all his faculties.
My dad cheered up upon seeing him. They were always very close.
