  1. Healthy answer: I force myself to take one step towards the day. Eat breakfast or get dressed. Then I force myself to take a second step. Then another. I break it down into “one thing at a time.”

    Kim’s real answer: I crawl back under the covers and hope that the feeling goes away. Sometimes it doesn’t and I try again the next day.

  2. I agree with the comments above about one step at a time. This is where routine really helps. Usually by mid-day, I find I’m ready to engage with life again. If not, I take it easy and start again tomorrow.
