An update on my dads health

My dad had a call today from his GP!
He spoke to her and told her how he was feeling, and that he’d gotten a letter from the rhumatology specialist at the hospital, telling him he’s on a waiting list to see them.
She told him he shouldnt be waiting for too long. But in the meantime she prescribed steroids for the stiffness in his joints.
She also put him on iron tablets.
Hopefully this is going to help him. He started the steroids today and he said his legs feel a little less stiff this evening.
If the iron tablets don’t help, he’ll have to get iron infusions.
He seems to be in good spirits though so thats a positive.
