More on my dads medical situation

My dad didnt end up going to the emergency room last night. A doctor from their GP’s surgery rang him in the afternoon yesterday, but it was a pretty pointless call.
He said he’d have to get the doctor whose dealing with my dad’s case to call him on Monday, now my dad could go to the emergency room and present himself there for treatment, but he’s not wanting to do that. He’s so stubborn, and he just won’t listen to reason!
Its so annoying! Mom and I have been worrying, and my sister too of course, but yesterday the 3 of us sat down and had a chat, and we decided we werent going to overly worry because he’s almost 68 years old, he needs to take responsibility for himself. I told mom that my mental health is suffering, and she said I needed to do all I could to stay well, thank god for sarah my community psychiatric nurse, she called me yesterday afternoon, and I had a good chat to her, and she is going to check in over the weekend with me to make sure I am doing ok and managing to cope.
I was so exhausted last night from all the stress and worry, that I fell into bed and I slept like a log.
My dad said he wasnt able to sleep much last night. He said he wasnt in pain with his joints, but his sleep pattern is all wrong, since he’s been sleeping throughout the day now most days, since his iron is so low and it is making him feel constantly weak and tired.
So now he’s waiting for another call on Monday. Not sure what will happen after that. I do hope the doctor will tell him that he needs to go get seen in the emergency room.
