Mom has a Bacterial infection, not pneumonia!

So my mom doesnt have pneumonia. She has a bacterial infection from when they went in last week to get biopsies on her lungs.
She’s waiting to see her consultant now. He’ll be around later on this morning. Its treated I think with antibiotics. She’s going to be in for at least a few days.
My dad is also waiting on a call from the hospital, he might also have to go in. He’s very weak this morning. He wants me to go stay with him this weekend. So I will be going to my parents house to stay with him for the weekend, and make sure he’s ok.
The hospital lost my moms covid test, they tagged it wrong. So this morning she had to have another covid test. And now she cant be moved upstairs until probably this evening when the results are back. She said she was almost crying when they told her they’d have to test her for covid again. She hates the nose swab.
I’m just glad she’s going to be ok. I was really worried, I hardly slept because I was so stressed.
Worrying about both parents is so hard.
