My dad had a fall

So my dad just had a fall. He’s ok, thankfully.
He was reaching to get something under the bed, and he toppled over, I think he got dizzy, his bloods are really low, he’s waiting for the hospital to phone him to see what they are going to do next.
He has low iron, but all his bloods are down, not exactly sure what is wrong besides low iron, but basically between his joints, and his low bloods he’s not very well at all.
I was asleep in the next room, and the next thing, I heard him shouting for me. I rushed out of bed and into the bedroom. He was sitting on the floor and he asked me to help him get up.
I tried helping him by holding his hand so he could get into a standing position, but he wasnt able to pull himself up to a standing position.
So I literally had to put my two hands under his arms and lift him off the ground.
It was very scary! He’s so stubborn that he wont go to the emergency room to get the help he needs. My mom is literally begging him to go but he just refuses.
He’s lucky he didnt hurt himself. He could have really hurt himself.
Plus he’s lucky I was even there at all, since I was going to actually go out with my mom for a drive, but I was too tired so decided to stay home instead.

  1. This must’ve been such a shock to you. I’m so sorry. I hope he’ll hear from the hospital soon, as this really sounds not good. Glad he’s okay for now though.
