Do you usually sleep all night once you fall asleep? Or do you wake up during the night?

  1. I usually sleep very, very well once I fall asleep. It’s weird for me to wake up in the night unless I drank a lot of liquids right before bed. Sometimes falling asleep can be a problem though.

  2. You know, basically, nobody sleeps through the night. Most times they cannot remember because they fell asleep right away again. This happens because of our primal instinct when it was necessary to wake up to survive. The problem is only when you cannot fall asleep anymore after you woke up. It happens to me at times, when I am nervous about the day or things are bothering me. It is worse than many years ago.

      1. So, don’t worry too much. Waking up is normal. It is only about falling asleep again.
Thank you, dear. It varies but I worked on myself to be more in peace with my thoughts and try to detach from circumstances.

    1. My sleep apnea doctor has told me that if you wake up for less than 5 minutes, there’s a very good chance you won’t remember it in the morning. When I did my initial sleep apnea study I woke up every few minutes, but could only remember a few times. With my BiPAP machine, I don’t *think* I wake up much, I know I’m massively better rested with it than without. Losing a lot of weight helped my sleep too. I still have a lot lose, but I’m maybe halfway to a good weight.

      1. Thanks for sharing this. You truly know a lot about it by experience. I agree, due to my sleep records (on my FitBit) I can confirm this. Less than 5 minutes are not noticed much but more of them I can remember and it even can make it more difficult to fall asleep again for me.
