  1. I’m not one to celebrate the “goofy holidays” as I call them…St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Oktoberfest. My mom’s lineage is English/Scots Irish, my dad’s family came from Germany. I should be able to celebrate two out of the three with gusto, but I don’t. I just don’t see the necessity or thrill of it. If I was a drinking man, maybe I would welcome them as chances to get tipsy without chastisement. But, alas, I’m not that type. For a number of reasons, I have an extremely low tolerance for drunks and just don’t feel the need to celebrate those days.

    1. I don’t know why they have to be drinking holidays. I’m not a big drinker I do like a social drink but not very often. I didn’t have any drink yesterday. Usually if the parade was on I would go to that 🤗
