If moms were flowers, I’d pick you

This is what it says on the front of my moms mothers day card.
Its mothers day in ireland and the UK on sunday.
I got my mom some gifts last weekend, but today when frances was getting my groceries I aske her to pick up some flowers, and a card.
My mom had said I didnt need to give her a card…but I wasnt going to let her special day go by without giving her a card to show her how much I appreciate her.
I’m so looking forward to spending time with her on Sunday. She’s bringing me some dinner, we’re having lamb. I am excited about that too, as I havent had lamb in ages.
My mom means the world to me. She has fought for me in every way since the day I was born. She’s always there for me whenever I need her.
For that, I am so grateful. I’ve been blessed with an absolute gem of a mom.
