A Phone session with my CPN Sarah

My CPN Sarah called me this afternoon, we’d arranged that we’d talk today at noon.
We had a good session.
I told her that I hadnt seen Dr. Barry yesterday, and the reasons why I didnt go. I told her how depressed I’d been and how I just couldnt face leaving the house.
She was understanding, and we talked about it a little. I asked her to let Dr. Barry know the real reason why I hadnt gone in to see her, I only told her secretary that I couldnt make it, I didnt give a reason.
Sarah said she’d definitely let Dr. Barry know. She said dr. Barry would be very worried, since I never usually miss our appointments, I would say I’ve missed about 2 in 8 years.
We talked about my other symptoms, my sleep, dissociative symptoms, distress over my parents and ptsd symptoms.
It felt good to talk, and get everything off my chest.
She asked me if I’d like her to make a referral to the weekend team, but I said no, that I thought I’d be ok. Plus, I will be at my parents house this weekend, so its not as if I am alone and on my own.
We arranged to catch up again next friday afternoon. Dr. Barrys secretary also rang me this morning, she couldnt give me an appointment for 2 weeks time, as the
wednesday is st. patricks day, but she gave me one to see dr. Barry in 3 weeks time.
In the meantime, I will see Eileen every week and Sarah will keep in touch with me via phone.
