Writing is therapy

For me, writing is cathartic.
I love blogging. Its my go to when I need to vent, or when I want to share something. This community is amazing. Always so supportive.
I’ve been blogging since 2012, back then I had another blog, I always blogged about mental health, disability and general life updates though.
For me, writing is therapy. Its a way to release my feelings.
I love sharing my poetry, asking my carol anne asks questions, and writing deeper posts about what is going on for me.
I thank all of you for continuing to read, like, and comment on what I post. It really means so much to me. As long as I have readers, I will continue to blog.

  1. I totally agree that writing is therapy. When my mom was living with us, we got into many family discussions that sometimes touched some raw nerves…even after 60+ years. I was asking her about my dad and things I had an idea happened, but she wouldn’t talk about them, claiming they were too painful. I tried to get her to write about those things, promising her I would not look at it until after she passed. I told her to yell, cuss, scream, call whomever you’re mad at names, whatever. Tell them you are worth something and you made something of yourself. But, try as I might she refused to go as far as I eanted her to. I took up writing my blog and a three part fiction series on what we talked about. It gave me a lot of release to do it. No one has read it yet, but it’s finished.

  2. I’ve been writing short horror stories and posting them on Reddit. My goal is one story a week, so far I’ve been doing a little better than that, but I’m having trouble getting an idea for the next one.
