Fandango’s flash fiction challenge #105

For the visually challenged writer, the photo is of a wintry scene of snow-covered trees deep within a forest.

The forrest was dark. Dark, and extremely cold.
Nick walked silently through the snow covered trees. He knew he was lost, so he prayed, he prayed for a miracle.
All of a sudden he heard it. A helicopter.
It was far off in the distance, but he definitely heard it, was it coming to rescue him?
He held his breath, maybe, just maybe he wouldnt die in the forrest after all.
