Oh good, I’d hate to disappoint! Hope your calls went well – I was calling today too but I had a surprisingly easy time of it.

Yes there were loads answered but didn’t want to talk today, so I was done early. These days, if everyone wants to chat, it can be 5pm when I finish but today it was 3:30. You?

It was the same for me today, not many wanted to talk for long, so I was done early π

I have a couple who are guaranteed to chat for a half-hour, one chatted for a whole hour the other week, I only noticed when I got logged out of the software!

Oh lol. I know the feeling as I have 2 or 3 who would chat all day if I let them!

I have what’s called high frequency deafness (80% hearing loss) due to working in a very loud factory for 20 years. We weren’t required to wear ear plugs until the last couple years I was there. I have constant “static” in my ears…nothing can be done about it. I’ve pretty much gotten used to it.

Constantly in both ears. Itβs called tinnitus and itβs my ever present companion.

Back many years ago when I was a teen and early 20-year-old, I listened to music very loud. I started getting tinnitus and my doctor told me that it might be permanent. It was very distracting and drove me crazy. I stopped listening to music that loud, and after several years the tinnitus went away; I was very lucky. I think of this when I see kids driving around with cars that have insanely loud stereos.

You were lucky, that couldβve been horrible for you to have tinnitus for years and not be able to get rid of it

Yes in my case it due to medical going through P.C.S
But ringing in the ear can occur for many reasons that are not medical related
