#3things challenge #497

Your three things today are:

My surgery was booked for january 22nd, 2013, I had two ovarian cysts, which needed to be removed ASAP.
I almost missed my taxi to get to the hospital!
We did eventually get there, but I was clock watching all the way there, as I had a certain time that I needed to book in by!
I’m happy to report my surgery was a huge success, and the cysts were both benign.
It was definitely a very scary time for me. I was so glad when I got the results, and it was good news!

  1. So glad all went well for you despite the anxious rush to get there. Having had two knees replaced, I can feel your anxiety. My ‘favorite’ race to the hospital was when I was 7 months pregnant and had to get my ex to the ER for kidney stones. They kept trying to put me in the wheelchair when he was screaming in the back seat . . then I had to drag him out of it because they weren’t allowed to reach into the vehicle! I so admire your courage and I can’t WAIT to get to Ireland for a trip that’s been COVID postponed four times!
