Saturday update

I got a good nights rest last night. I always sleep better when I am at my parents house for some reason, not really sure what that is or why it is but I tend to feel more rested then.
There isnt much going on here today. Mom made a nice breakfast of bacon and sausages and toast.
I will spend the day just relaxing. Its gloomy outside, very cloudy, and cold and its probably going to rain later on. The forecast called for a lot of rain today.
I asked mom if she’d make fajitas for dinner, so we’re having chicken fajitas.
I cant wait, I havent had them in ages.
My mood is good. I feel upbeat and happy.
I hope it stays that way.
I think I’ll do a little self care today too and have a long bubble bath later on this afternoon.
I tried to see if the treadmills were back in stock at that store mom and I were looking in last week, but they werent, and we rang the store, and the girl we spoke to said because of brexit that the treadmills wouldnt be in stock for a while.
So we’ll have to try one of the sports shops I guess to see if we can get one there.
Mom really wants one so she can keep fit.
Ok am off to go read my book, catch you all later.

  1. When I was a kid we had two things that I can’t find for sale here in Indiana. King David sausage, which is a really finely ground sausage you scoop out and spread on toast, the other is goetta, made with pork sausage and pin oats, you fry it, and I eat it with ketchup. I really oaght to go to Cincinnatti and see if you can still buy them there.
