Today is 24th January

I slept in late this morning. Last night, I had 2 gins with my mom, my 2 aunts video called us, and we sat in the kitchen chatting for hours, while we drank our drinks.
Then after my dad went to bed we listened to a live music session on facebook, and we chatted to one another as we did that. We stayed up until past midnight.
My dad is in agony this morning with his bones, we think its arteritis, but he also has brittle bone disease, and he can barely walk this morning, he was awake most of the night in severe pain.
I just got mom to wash my hair for me.
The weather outside is cold, we have a heavy frost. Its 4 degrees C now, but this morning it was only 1 degree, and last night it was minus 1 C. We were meant to have snow, there was some in other counties but not here in cork.
I ordered a present for my cousin, she’s pregnant and all of the family are buying stuff for her baby, so I ordered a baby bath, I had a text from argos which is the store I ordered it from to say the bath was in and I have until Tuesday to pick it up. I am hoping my sister can pick it up tomorrow for me.
I am planning on reading later, I have 2 books on the go right now, one is no ceremony for the dead by shane dunphy, and the other one is outcast child by kitty Neale. They are both really good. I am enjoying both of them. They are quite different from each other which is why I can read both of them at once and follow both stories.
Dinner today is roast pork, with turnip, peas, and potatos. yummy. I hope the scale will be kind to me tomorrow, hopefully I’ll have lost a little weight, I’d love to have lost 2 pounds but we’ll see what happens.
