Travel update!

I talked to my travel agent this morning, I wanted to find out how long I have left to use my flight vouchers, and I also wanted to find out if my travel insurance policy could still be used.
The vouchers can be used up until next may, so I have a long time yet to use them, and she said the airlines may even extend that time, if the pandemic isnt over by the end of this year. Hoping it will be though. Hopefully once vaccines are rolled out we’ll all get vaccinated and this stupid virus can become a distant memory!
My hope is, that I’ll be vaccinated before the summer, and I can go to colorado to visit sarah in the fall.
As for my insurance, that is transferable, so, when I rebook my flights, I can rebook my insurance and they’ll transfer my original policy over to the new flights.
I am so happy about that, as I initially payed 75 euro for a premium policy!
The next thing I want to do is have a chat with sarah and see what we want to do about dates and all and then ask the travel agent How it looks now if I wanted to book for the fall!
Surely me and Sarah will be vaccinated by then!
But I dont know if the borders have even opened up yet for europeans to travel to america, I hadnt heard anything about it recently so there is a big possibility that they arent opened up yet.
At least I know where I stand now though with the voucher and insurance policy!
