Appointment with my community psychiatric nurse

I just had a phone consult with Sarah my CPN!
We talked about how I am doing. I told her about the leg cramps I had been having last night. She asked me if they were interfering with my sleep. I said yes, that I couldnt sleep because of them.
She said they may be down to the zyprexa and we’d keep an eye on them over the weekend. She is going to write it in my referral for the nurses who call me to ask me about the cramps.
Then on Monday she will read their notes, and if the cramps persist she said she’ll talk to Dr. Barry and see if she wants to stop the zyprexa and prescribe something else for me.
I dont see dr. barry again until january 20th. I’m glad I have Sarah as she can speak to her on my behalf between now and then.
She asked me about the voices, and she said she’d also put on my referral for the nurses to ask me about how the voices are, and also about my mood as I am still quite low.
But the mood, I am not so worried about, as I do know I’ll pull out of it.
I am so nervous now to take the zyprexa tonight, as the cramps were so uncomfortable last night, I really dont want a repeat of that tonight.
But I’ll take it and hope for the best.Hopefully when I take it it wont interfere with my sleep.

  1. Have you tried to put a cushion under your legs? I had trouble with sore legs while having chemotherapy and the cushion helped a lot. I know its not the same but it’s worth a try, I think. 🙋‍♀️🐝
