The epitome of sadness

I am the epitome of sadness
right now my heart is heavy
my tears fall
my heart is breaking
Into a million pieces
I wish
someone would catch me
Before I fall
I am broken
Sad and overwhelmed
Tears leaking from my tired eyes
A body that feels shattered
As it trembles
And shivers
As I remember
Times now long gone
But they are etched in my brain
