Fandango’s flash fiction challenge #99

Are you going to pay for that milk? The cashier was becoming impatient.
Joe stood there contemplating, his money in his hand ready to pay but for some reason he was dilly dallying.
I am, he said, just as soon as you answer my question…
Why is the milk twice the price in this store?
I can go to another store and its way cheaper!
Well, the cashier said snarkily, if you dont want it, you know what to do!
With that, Joe put his money away.
Right then, he said, goodbye!
And with that he walked out!
