Celebrations with my mom!

Fireworks adorned the sky, making it so beautiful. A colourful array burst into life.
We sat there, mom and me, watching them. Listening to the pop, pop, pop as they lit up the sky.
“Happy new year, mom said to me, coming over and hugging me for all she was worth.
“Happy new year, mom, I hope this is a good one for both of us!
Sipping our drinks, we watched the count down on tv, it was a beautiful way to spend new years eve.
Making memories, being together, being happy in each others company.
