We used to have our kids when they were younger open one gift which was always pjs. If they were into a certain Disney character they would be in that theme. Now they are all grown. I wanted to open one gift, as I much like a child when it comes to Christmas. Hubby said I have to wait 😂🤷♀️. I tried!

I used to sneak into gifts when I was little. I got caught one year, and my mom was not very happy with me to say the least. I was devastated. Lol 😂. She said I wasn’t going to get my gift. I was only 3 years old too. I still got it, I just couldn’t wait to see what it was.

My husband’s family tradition is to open gifts on Christmas Eve. Mine wasn’t, so we compromise with opening one.

Each Christmas that I spent in Denmark we opened all Christmas presents on Christmas eve. My brother’s in-laws spend Christmas out exploring the land, walking the beaches, just being together. Every Christmas that I’ve spent in Canada, presents are for Christmas only.
