Fandangos flash fiction challenge #97

Mommy! Mommy!
The kids were shrieking with excitement.
Can we decorate our ginger bread house now?
Their mom was excited too. This was an annual tradition in their family, every year, they’d all sit around the big table in the living room decorating the ginger bread house.
Look, cried emily. Look what I found.
She pulled her photo she’d gotten from pinterist out of her back pack, everyone peered at it and then the younger kids started giggling!
A gingerbread man in the bath with marshmallows! So cool!
Can we take a marshmallow bath too mommy?
How fun would that be!
No, their mom quipped, but I’ll make you all some hot chocolate with marshmallows while we decorate.
