Can happen all of a sudden and leave you desperate
For some kind of relief, some kind of help
They can steal your joy in a moments notice
Leave you stranded by yourself.

Triggers can come in all shapes and sizes
Leaving you breathless and alone.
They can be as simple as a word that is said.
They can be a stranger on the street that you dont know.

Triggers can steal your sanity and
Make you feel that you are going crazy.
They can paralyze and immobilize you
You just cant do anything, you are not being lazy.

Triggers can happen when you least expect it
And be terrifying when you see
And are just going about your day
And suddenly you arent where you used to be.

Triggers can strike at a moments notice
With not so much of a warning that its happening
Triggers can terrify you and leave you sinking
Into a bottomless pit with no hope of climbing.

  1. I think you’ve just written a song. What tune will it have? Mine would be something like Triggers stink and they can go get stuffed. Triggers stink and I’ve had enough.
Triggers stink and all that jazz.
    Triggers stink the berry razz.
