Fandango’s FPQ!

Fandango is our host for the fandango’s provocative question, a weekly question prompt.
This is the question for this week!

How do we make peace with ourselves, knowing that, being the basically good people we are, we also have a side to us which we know isn’t the best our “dark side”? Can we overcome these parts of our lives that we may not be proud of? Or do we simply accept them, learn to live with them, and move on?

Well personally, how I go about this is, I go to therapy, and in therapy, I talk about all of the things that have happened to me throughout my life, I work on letting go of the guilt, shame, and other feelings that I feel related to all the things I’ve done in life that I am not so proud of.
I also do a lot of writing, releasing my inner deamons.
This is what helps me come to terms with things, and make peace with myself about all of it.
