do not fear your mind
I say this to myself
As I flitter and float
Thoughts on the wind
My mind so full
But I try to not fear
What is inside my mind
Even though
There is much darkness
And many dark thoughts
All will be well soon
I tell myself
Very soon
I will be free
Once more
Not in the grip of fear
In those moments I pause, breathe a minute and try to remember things I wanted to do next.. sail away, plant an herb garden..

Hi Carol Anne. My name is Elizabeth. I enjoyed your poem. I would like know more about where this blog came from. I know it came from your heart, but what inspired you to write this?

Hi Elizabeth. I wrote it one night when my mind was racing and I was trying to stay calm and tell myself not to fear my thoughts. Xx

I enjoyed your post. Because you did hold back your feelings and you expressed yourself to the fullest. I found a interesting article also about ways to limit. worry https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/peace-happiness/bible-about-worry/. This article has advice such as: Limiting our intake of negative news and to Think of others. I hope you enjoy. And also let me know what you think of it.
