December 2 question – Are there months or times of the year that you are more productive with your writing than other months, and why?
I write almost all the time all year round. I blog every day. sometimes I write poetry more than at other times, but each day I post diary entries, and or quotes, sometimes poetry as well. I enjoy it. It does happen that sometimes I am more inspired than at other times. It depends on what is going on at any given time, sometimes I will even write poems about the weather, or something like my cup of coffee, my dog, etc. Sometimes I write poetry about the overwhelm I feel, or the despair of being an abuse survivor and the legacy that has left for me. I dont really write short stories, but occasionally I will participate in a blog challenge, or prompt where you have to write a piece of fiction. I’m not a good fiction writer though, poetry suits me better. Or diary type posts. I tend to write more in winter, and a little less in summer, but I try to keep a balance.
It’s so cool that you write every day. I myself try to maintain the same, because that’s the only thing I derive my feeling of achievement from (the act of writing, not the results). Anyway thanks for sharing!

It’s great that you are able to write a lot. Don’t worry about writing fiction if that’s not your thing. Write what works for you.
