CPN Check in call

My CPN Sarah called me this afternoon. She usually phones me on either Thursday or Friday afternoon to check in with me. We had a very good chat.
I talked about increasing my prozac, she said it usually take 4 to 6 weeks to see an improvement, although, since I am already taking it, and I only had an increase it could be sooner that I’d see some improvement.
I told her about the side effects I had. She is good to talk to about meds, because she has done a course so that she is able to actually prescribe meds. So I was able to discuss the lethargy and the diarrhea with her and she said it seemed like my body was just adjusting to the increase, and we were talking about how weird it is, how some people have no side effects while others have massive side effects.
We talked about sleep and I was able to tell her that I have been having pretty ok nights this week, there was only one night where I got very little sleep, the rest of the time I slept fairly ok, ok for me is getting 4 or 5 hours straight without waking up.
Last night for example I went to bed at 10:30, I slept until 2 AM, and then I was up until around 5:30. I went back to bed then and I slept until 8 AM.
She asked me if Dr. Barry had discussed with me about what happened with the guy asking me all of the questions relating to my blindness, and I told her yes, we’d discussed that. Then I asked her if she knew about the guy who’d self harmed last week and then come in to be seen, she didnt know about it. She said I’ve had a bad run of it lately, going up to the clinic and having to deal with the first guy asking all those questions, and then last week to have to deal with someone coming in who had self harmed.
We were able to laugh about it today, but at the time it most certainly wasnt funny.
We are going to check in again next week, on Thursday afternoon.
