Your line for this week is:
Dominic bowed his head to hide his face.
Dominic bowed his head to hide his face. He didnt want anyone to see him cry. Men werent supposed to cry. That had been drilled into him from an early age. But this was a funeral, surely it was ok to cry at a funeral? And his moms funeral at that! He looked up and there in front of him stood his best childhood friend.
“Are you ok, dominic?”
“Dont be afraid to show your emotions”!
“I am here, I am here for you!”
Dominic sobbed uncontrollably. He’d been close to his mom, very very close.
His friend patted his shoulder.
“Come sit down Dominic!”
He led dominic to an armchair, lets talk, he said softly.
And they began to talk and their chat lasted for an hour.
