Autumn storm

we had an autumn storm
It was loud
It boomed
I freaked out
As I always do
At the loud claps of thunder
The rain fell
Bouncing off of the ground
Big heavy drops
I sat there on my couch
And I listened to it
The sound of the drop drop drop soothed me
Today we had
An autumn storm
The air cleared
As did my head
The cobwebs cleared from my brain
Today in the autumn storm
