#What Do You See #55

Sadje is our host for this prompt, and the details of this challenge can be found on her blog!
( For the visually challenged reader, the image shows a person precariously balanced, standing on a fallen tree trunk hanging over a body of water)

Jack had hiked all day. He’d gone hiking on his own, despite reservations, and advice from his good friend Logan, Logan had told him not to go alone…but at least Logan knew he was hiking, and if anything happened to him he’d know where he was.
He’d tripped over a log, and fallen hard on to the tree trunk, his phone seemed to be broken, or he suspected it was, but then, all of a sudden it jolted into life.
“Logan, he panted breathlessly”!
I’m hurt, I’ve fallen, I’m about to fall from this tree trunk into the icy water below!
“OMG, Logan said, I’m on my way, I’ll call the rescue helicopter, and the paramedics, hang on Jack!
