Bee’s Poem of the Day: Changing

Hello, dear people of the blogosphere. I wish you a wonderful day here from our sofa. The after-effects of chemo- and radiotherapy make me exhausted. I do what I want to do but need to sit down often.

So I took today to finish a couple of books. As you might have read on my blog, I have dedicated the second half of this year to reading black authors. I have also discovered audio books which are great when I do housework or just sit and rest.

And I have stopped watching TV throughout the day. I either listen to music/podcasts on Spotify or to an audiobook. It has a strange effect on me: I feel I can think more for myself. I think I come back to myself and what is true for me. It seems to change my outlook on life profoundly. Strange.

Fill your mind with books
They take you on a journey
A leaf falls outside.

May you stay safe, stay kind and may you remember that you rock!
