My graduation from university college cork is on the 24th of november, we’re having it virtually due to the restrictions, we cant do an in person graduation ceremony. I will be qualifying with a certificate in mental health in the community, this means I am qualified to work as a peer support specialist, or work in a community role with people who have mental illness. I already work for friendly call, and a lot of our clients have a mental illness.
I decided to hire the cap and gown, so that I can take some photos of me in it, even though I am not going to have an inperson graduation. I will celebrate with family, we’ll take pictures, and I will make it a special day.
The cap and gown cost 45 euros to hire, but I thought it was worth it, after all, its not every day that you graduate.
My certificate is being sent out in the post, I should have it within the next couple of weeks.
